Interactive graph of canonical PAIRST entities (v0.5) and how they connect. Use a desktop browser for the best experience.
Canvas
| Action | How |
| Pan | Click-drag on the background (grab / grabbing cursor). |
| Zoom | Mouse wheel on the canvas, or + / − on the zoom strip (bottom-right). |
| Fit all | Click ⤢ on the zoom strip. |
| Zoom % | Shown above + / −. |
Category filters
Use the top buttons to focus a slice: All entities, Core records, Case workflow, Evidence & sources, Monitoring, Research security, Shared infrastructure.
Hide cross-category (with a category selected, not “All”): Off — other categories stay visible but dimmed. On — nodes outside the filter are hidden; edges only appear when both endpoints match the filter.
⟳ Reset — re-runs the layout and redraws the graph.
Selecting an entity
Click a node to open the detail panel on the right: header, tabs (Identity, Core attributes, …), collapsible sections (▼), and Relationships — click a row to jump to that entity. Hover a node for a quick tooltip.
Trace path
- Click Trace path (shows “Tracing…”).
- First node click = start (green outline).
- Second node = end (gold); a shortest path is computed.
- A breadcrumb under the header lists the path; click steps to focus.
Click Trace path again to exit. If no path exists, a message appears near the controls.
Panel & legend
Drag the vertical bar between the canvas and detail panel to resize. The bottom bar shows color categories; the right-hand hint summarizes shortcuts.
Tips
- Start from All entities, then narrow with a category to reduce clutter.
- Use Trace path to show how entity A connects to entity B.
- For full field definitions, use the canonical pairst-master-schema.md spec alongside this diagram.
